Norsafe Trading Terms

1. Introduction

These Trading Terms govern the supply of products and services by Norsafe, a division of H G Manders en Familie (Pty) Ltd.

By accepting a quotation, placing an order, requesting branding approval, or purchasing goods from Norsafe, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Trading Terms.


2. Quotation Validity

Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations are valid for fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue.

Pricing is subject to supplier pricing, exchange rate fluctuations, stock availability, and manufacturer price changes occurring after the quotation validity period.

Norsafe reserves the right to review pricing where supplier costs change before order confirmation.


3. Stock Availability

All quotations and orders are subject to stock availability at the time of confirmation.

While Norsafe makes every effort to provide accurate stock information, stock levels may change without notice due to supplier sales, allocations, or supply chain movements.

Stock cannot be reserved without a confirmed order unless specifically agreed in writing.


4. Lead Times

Estimated lead times are provided in good faith based on information supplied by manufacturers, suppliers, transport providers, and branding partners.

Lead times remain estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Supplier availability

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Freight delays

  • Public holidays

  • Power interruptions

  • Labour action

  • Force majeure events

Norsafe shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.


5. Artwork Approval

Where embroidery, printing, engraving, heat press, DTF, screen printing, sublimation or any other branding process is required, production will only commence once artwork approval has been received.

Customers are responsible for verifying:

  • Logo versions

  • Colours

  • Sizes

  • Quantities

  • Garment selections

  • Placement positions

  • Spelling and wording

Approval of artwork constitutes acceptance of the final production specification.

Any corrections requested after approval may result in additional costs and revised lead times.


6. Branding Terms

All branded products are manufactured according to customer-approved specifications.

Minor variations in colour, thread shade, print placement, garment shade, sizing, and production tolerances may occur and shall not constitute a defect.

Branded, embroidered, printed, customised or specially sourced products cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned once production or procurement has commenced.

Digitising, setup, artwork preparation and machine setup charges may apply where applicable.


7. Delivery and Collection

Delivery dates are estimates only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for inspecting goods upon collection or delivery.

Any shortages, damages or discrepancies should be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of collection or delivery.

Risk passes to the customer upon collection, delivery, or handover to a nominated carrier.


8. Product Substitutions

Should a quoted product become unavailable, discontinued, backordered or subject to excessive delays, Norsafe reserves the right to propose a comparable alternative product.

No substitution will be supplied without customer approval.

Alternative products may differ slightly in design, specification, appearance or manufacturer.


9. Payment Requirements

Payment terms are determined by the customer’s approved account status.

Customers without approved credit facilities may be required to pay in full prior to ordering, branding, collection or delivery.

Norsafe reserves the right to request deposits on:

  • Large orders

  • Special-order products

  • Customised products

  • Branded products

Ownership of all goods remains vested in Norsafe until full payment has been received.


10. General Liability

Norsafe’s liability shall be limited to the repair, replacement or credit of defective products supplied.

Norsafe shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from:

  • Product misuse

  • Incorrect product selection

  • Delayed delivery beyond Norsafe’s control

  • Customer-approved artwork errors

  • Loss of business

  • Loss of profits

  • Third-party failures

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights afforded to customers under applicable South African consumer legislation.
